So, this morning I had the pleasure of using my Joie de Vivre tarot deck. Here is what the cards said :)

Tower - I saw this and immediately heard in my head the words "falling down". I seriously have a hard time letting myself go and this is what blocks me from progressing at times. The butterflies assure me that if I just let go, I will be okay. The beautiful butterflies have my back.

Five of Swords - This card shows the struggle within me. part of me is angry and sad and I need to come to some sort of resolve. I see myself just being miserable with my life and that needs to change.

Queen of Wands- This queen usually shows up when talking about my artistic endeavors. She is signaling me to grow and create what I desire in my life. set the stage for things to manifest in my life. Lighten up and be happy!

Seven of Coins - Patience is key as I tend to want things to happen so quickly. This is a time of reflection and tending to self in order to see the positive results I want to see growing in .my life.

This reading hit home for me as I am going through a period of change :).

What do I need to be aware of today?

I decided to pick a card from my Angels,Gods and Goddesses Oracle by Toni Carmine Salerno and received the Goddess of Compassion - Self -criticism is diminishing your sense of self worth. 

At times I find myself being the awful self critic and it truly needs to stop, but it can be so hard for me to show myself some compassion. If I hear others  criticizing themselves I give them compassion. Why don't I do that for me too...lol. I am realizing that I need to treat myself better and to always be mindful of any negative thoughts that may pop into my head. Funny thing is that when I looked up at the clock and saw 11:11 (before pulling a card) I made a wish  asking for help in realizing my self worth and that I am worthy of receiving all that is good. So for this card to show up is a very wonderful confirmation.

Angel Card : Energy Work



1. What must you do to attract a loving relationship into your life? 6 of Pentacles - In this card there is a figure who has scales in his hands and he is happy to give what he has to those in need. In matters of love I see you as this figure. Giving your love which is represented by the coins being handed over. You have a lot of love to give abd when in love you are happy to share it, but what is given to you in return? There has to be a balance in relationships. Not just one sided love. It's a give and take. I feel like the hurt has come from you giving your love so much and not seeing it returned fairly.



2. What does does she need to be happy in life and love? The World/Page of Cups - You need to see yourself as the center of attention. Like a Superstar with the world at your feet. You also have to feel complete with self. No one can fill that space, but you :) So, embrace your beautiful and strong self and all will be right in your world! Just to clarify what the World means I pulled the Page of Cups. The page is a youthful person or youth who is full of love, a new love at that. Innocence and sweetness! He/She brings a message of love and peace. You have to be open to love. I feel that there is faith needed again in order to feel the love you need and deserve. You need to speak and think love (I heard that in my head).



3. What can she do to prepare herself for a loving romantic relationship? 3 of Cups - This is a card all about having fun and celebrating! Since there are 3 women on this card I immediately thought of close girlfriends that you can go out with? Maybe to an outing where you eat and drink together! Enjoy the company of other women that you can learn and share with. It can be sisters,aunts,mom or any woman figure in your life! I am also feeling woman energy. Getting in touch with your feminity. You may be wondering, but I am a woman already so why do I need to gey in touch with it...haha. I am thinking connecting with the Goddess energy. I just feel this strongly for you. This will for sure help you in beautiful ways. Pamper yourself with that energy and take time for you. Get in touch with your inner Empress!



4. Outcome if advice is taken? High Priestess/10 of Pentacles - These cards tell me that if you listen to the advice given, you will be set for the long run. The High Priestess is all about secrets and the unknown. She is intuitive.I feel that what you need to know is alrady inside you. I heard in my head "Be the Mystery". I take that to mean be mysterious a bit in love. Don't give yourself away keep some things to yourself. Usually when people can not figure you out they want to know more! Intrigue them. !0 of Pentacles which is a clarifying card for the High Priestess is all about longevity. You want to be in love for the long haul. You are big on family and wanting a lasting and commited relationship. You can have that and more! Follow your intuition and it will lead you to where you want to be in love and life!

The Verdict?

So out of curiosity, I asked the cards What would be the outcome verdict of the Dr. Conrad Murray trial (Michael Jacksonn's doctor) and received these following carrds :

Six of Swords -
Nine of Swords
King of Swords

Noticing how all the cards I pulled were Swords is crazy. My gut tells me that it is a gut wrenching feeling about this outcome. I felt that the King of Swords definitely relates to the Judge and the anguish that Conrad is feeling and more so that he will be sentenced. My feeling is that he would be found Guilty.

I am posting this way before the verdict is in and pray that I am interpreting these cards right.

Going to the Chapel of love.....

This is a reading I did for a querent seeking to know about marriage :)
(I used the Zerner- Farber deck )

                                  1. What is preventing you from finding a marriage partner?
Ace of Cups - This card speaks of new and exciting love! Big love (Not the show..lol), but why would this be preventing you from finding a marriage partner? I drew a clarifying card just to see and received...6 of Hearts. I felt that there was someone from your past that is preventing you from finding that marriage partner. Looking back at the Ace of Hearts I am wondering if your heart has never fully gotten over this person? Is this person from your childhood?

2. How would you go about finding the perfect partner to wed?
The Fool - You have to get out there!!! Be a people person which I know can be difficult at times. Go on an adventure to find that groom...haha. Go out exploring. When I see the fool I think of places outdoors like outdoor markets(Farmer's Market) or maybe even open malls!
Concerts even.


3. What type of bride would you be?
The Tower - I know that The Tower is all about outdated foundations crumbling down to make way for a new foundation, but I felt that you would be a bride that is non traditional. You like to shake things up a bit! I asked for clarity on this and pulled
  The Judgment : I feel the this card shows an awakening of self to be the bride you want to be. Going back to the Tower again you may also have to crumble down the ideas you have of a bride period. You are a unique individual and you have to get rid of those thoughts that may hold you back from becoming a bride. Try not to be too hard on yourself (I know because I do it to myself).

4. What does spirit want you to know about your desire to wed?
King of Wands - Now this card I felt "Yes!" all over it :) You have to be like the King of Wands and take action. Fire is all about passion and desire! Creating the possibilities for a loving realtionship to enter your life. Being pro active in finding that man out there! From an intuitive feeling it feels positive and great! Spirit wants you to get out there and take action!

Extra insight - I pulled an Angel card for you from my "Daily Guidance from your Angels" by Doreen Virtue. 


Energy Work - This card shows that you would benefit from receiving energy work or doing energy work for others! I feel the the angels are stating in relation to your reading that energy work is required before commiting yourself to marriage. I checked the bottom card and totally goes with the reading too! The bottom card is What Do You Desire? Write down what is is that you are desiring from a mate and what type of marriage you would love to have and I feel that visualizing it also would help (If you are a visual person) too! Imagine your wedding day, but even after that the life you want! I feel that this would totally help you. I have been listening to Summer McStravick's show Flowdreaming and she states feeling as if are in the moment. Get into the flow of your creation and the Universe will match your flow vibration and what you desire will come. She can explain it better than I am doing...lol, but look her up on Itunes for her podcast :)

Stay or Go?

Here is a reading I had the pleasure of doing for a querent who wished to know what decision
she should make involving a move or not to move.
I used the Universal Waite Deck.

1. What would life be like if you moved back to Philly? 5 of Cups -
Upon seeing this card I felt that there was some form of sadness about being in Philly. It felt really deep to me as if you had lost something here? In my head before I even pulled this card I saw a bunch of headstones in a cemetary. I have no idea what that would mean to you, but I felt that it may be a symbol of endings and things dying sort of like the Death card. Also, in the picture of this card the figure is turning his back away from two cups standing behind him/her. The figure has closed himself/herself off from realizing that there is hope on the other side of the bridge if he/she only crossed over. I also felt that you never really gave your truue heart to Philly in some way.

2. What would life be like if I stay in New Orleans? Ace Of Pentacles -

There is a hand reaching out to you with a bright golden pentacle/coin. I felt that you would be helped in some way if you stayed in the Big Easy. What I heard in my head was opportunities!! And since this represents material maybe even financial opportunities such as a new job! Also, I felt that this place was very grounding in some way to you. Your roots are here!

3. What does your higher self want you to know about your decisions/choices? 9 of Swords - There is a figure who is afraid to uncover her eyes! My immediate feeling was that you were sad and crying over what to do. Your higer self wants you to have no fear and to face whatever decision you have to make! No more anxiety or worry!

4. What does your heart want? 6 of Swords - I know that this card is all about moving on to a new place or just moving on mentally, but I felt like you were/are reluctant to move. I asked for clarity on this card and received the King of Pentacles. The King is sitting comfortably on his thrown draped in luch greenery. Very calm and relaxed. Seeing this I feel that you are rather comfortable in New Orleans. The thing that came to mind seeing all that greenery on the kind reminded of the swamps in Louisiana :) I remember my dad talking about the swamps (He was born in Louisiana too!). I feel that your heart is where you are currently living.

I pulled a card for you from my oracle deck "Angels,Gods and Goddesses" you received .... Angel of Expression. The message on the card says " Speak your truth and express yourself clearly The figure on the card is nude and is covered by speaks of pastel colors. When I see this I think of line figure drawing. Not sure if you have considered drawing, but if you have the angels are telling you to bring forth the artist in you! Also through art, maybe not just painting or drawing it could be the art of creating and living your life in a very open manner! You are the creator and you shpuld express yourself boldly! The world needs to see your beautiful truth!

So, I am sitting here trying to figure out what deck to use as my opening entry...haha. This is not my first blog (I have many attempts!), but it is a first one dealing with my interest and love of tarot and oracle cards. You can say that I am a tarot/oracle card junkie for sure. Whenever I see a new deck I just have to get it! As of now I am low on funds so that is out of the question, but I know that I will eventually get that beautiful deck! Anyway, it is like 10:39am here in Los Angeles and I am really feeling the beautiful feel of Autumn. The feeling that comes over me is one of earthy comfort. Doesn't Fall just feel so awesome!?
To break in this blog I have decided that I will draw a card from my Doreen Virtue : Angel Therapy Deck! Let's see what the Angels have to say :)
I actually started to draw only one card, but I was compelled to draw three..hehe.

Base Chakra - I had to laugh when I saw this card as it relates to all things of a primal physical material need. I have been worrying about finances and how I am going to pay this bill or that bill. I need to definitely heal and use positive words in relation to my material needs.
Law of Attraction - This card speaks to me as I have been seeking to attract what I want in my life. I listen to Summer McStravick's Flowdreaming series and really want to seriously put it to use. I can not sit around anymore and take a back seat in my life. I want change, but I find myself being lazy/fearful about progressing forward! I have to be in alignment with what it is I desire.
Parents -  I think this card is connected to my dad. He passed last year in Sept and I know that he is still looking after me :) It still hurts that he is no longer here in physical form, but I know that he is not suffering at all. My dad was a very great father and I appreciated all that he has done for me. This also tells me that my dad is happy!

All in all there truly needs to be a change in the way I view my current financial situation and to create the life that I so desire! I am the creator of my life along with the God/Goddess upstairs! I just have to have the faith that all things can be achieved through belief in self and the creator.  I just have to be willing to change what is not working for me :)
